	It's Not About Us... It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ, he had his eyes on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. - Ephesians 1:11 It has taken years of trial and error and victory for Lighthouse Creative Group to be able to define who we are and who we serve today. Lighthouse Creative Group is owned and operated by Karen and Craig Ruhl, a husband and wife team with a diverse background and experience that allows us to serve you. Eighteen years ago, Karen was called upon to open a small agency devoted to the small to medium sized business owner. For seventeen years, Karen had been in the broadcasting industry and was leaving a management position to begin her journey to serve. This was a big leap of faith, although at the time, Karen did not realize how God was guiding her path. We believe that God gives us different passions so that everything he wants done in the world will get done. Our passion is clear, serve those who are usually not served in the business world and help them compete in the marketplace. We are all on journeys but most of the time we go through life with blinders on. Our experiences are just another line on our resume. It's when we spend the quiet time to reflect and listen that we can see that not one second of our life and not one experience we went through was wasted. God has been preparing Craig and I to serve the small business owner from the beginning. We are proud to be here for you, it really isn't about us. Proverbs 11:25 tells us "The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped." God knows that we all have needs and he gave us a particular skill set so that we can come beside a small business owner like you and help you grow your business. Our goal is to remain humble, we are not looking for wealth, fame or exposure. We are looking for business people, who like us, are on a path and want to continue to build a business that allows them to care for their family and always have enough to give to others. Please don't be confused, you do not have to be a Christian business or believe what we believe. We do hope that you respect and want to work with a company who believes in integrity, respect and honesty. Sound different? We think so too and have decided today, September 2, 2010, to be bold and introduce our new mission statement to you. After all, it is not about us, it is all about serving you.
